Friday - Weekly Round up.

Samuel and Meg were both Quality workers on Thursday for their lovely writing!


Samuel did some amazing description of his All Black supporter t-shirt and Meg did fantastic sounding out of her words!

Today was Blackout day for Eastern Hutt School and LOTS of D1 children remembered to wear their best black clothes to school. Some even had their face painted by Miss Pauley. 

Don't they all look like such excited All Black supporters?!

On Tuesday, Liam was our photojournalist, and he took a great photo of some people at fitness time!

Hayley, Teneil and Mia look like they are flying! What a great photo Liam!

On Wednesday, D1 decided to design t-shirts you could wear to support the All Blacks in the Rugby World Cup. First we brainstormed ideas of what to put on our t-shirts, then we designed them and coloured them with pastels. Then Miss Pauley helped everyone add glitter to their t-shirts! On Thursday we did our first bit of descriptive writing, and wrote about what our t-shirts looked like. Here is a photo of our fantastic work!
