Friday round up.

D1 have had a fantastic first week back at school. Click the read more to take a look at all the things we have done:

On Tuesday, Hayley wrote an awesome story about what she did in her holidays for Mrs Diamond. 

Liam and Jake and me watched the Smurfs movie.

 While Mrs. Diamond was teaching, Miss Pauley took everyone out two by two to help her plant our garden. 

We planted 18 bean plants!

And 6 spinach plants. 

We can't WAIT for our garden to grow!

For fitness on Wednesday we pretended to be the plants in our garden. 

The girls were watering Ryan to help him grow!

Sam was a tall bean plant!

Ryan and Meg were getting lots of sun and growing tall!

Sophie Martin Way earned $200 Miss Pauley dollars on Thursday for AMAZING reading!

Finally, today we celebrated the Indian holiday, Diwali, and also celebrated the different cultures that make up our class. 


A few D1 classmates even wore some of their culture's clothing!

Here are our well dressed classmates; Hayley in an Australian flag, Keenan and Max in their All Black tops, Abhay in his Indian tunic and Samuel wearing a cool Holland top, covered with special Dutch words and items!
